All other intellectual proprieties not owned by MARKUP II that may appear on the Website are the property of their respective owners, who may or may not be affiliated with or connected to MARKUP II and the User is responsible for obtaining any required permission for the use thereof.

9. License and ownership
Any tools, methodologies, documents or other materials (collectively referred as to the “Service Material”) distributed or rendered accessible, as the case may be, by MARKUP II to a Registered User in the framework of the Services, are provided to the Registered User on a non-exclusive basis as a means to ensure timely implementation of activities under a specific project and technical work on a non-commercial basis, uniquely for use of the Registered User. The Registered User acknowledges and agrees that all rights, title and interests in and to the Service Material, including without limitation the copyright to the Service Material and all intellectual property rights therein, belong to and are possessed or owned by MARKUP II and that MARKUP II retains the right to make such use of the Services Material as it may consider necessary in its sole discretion. Newsletter

The website shall provide a subscription function for a newsletter.

The MARKUP newsletter is generated by Brevo and built into the page. Registration requires entering the subscriber’s email address through a registration form on the web site and acceptance of the data protection regulations. The user receives an email and confirms the registration by a click (double-opt-in option). Subsequently the newsletter is sent automatically every 2-3 months. All data will be erased if the user unsubscribes from the newsletter. The processing of the data is based on the consent as per article 6.1 (a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. 1 How MARKUP II uses cookies
The MARKUP II website draws on the services of Matomo to analyse usage data. No other use is made of the data, and the data are not passed on to third parties. The following information is stored for each page you view and each file you download:

  • Anonymous IP address
  • Date and time
  • Page opened/name of the file downloaded
  • Quantity of data transferred
  • Notification of whether viewing or download was successful

Temporary session cookies are used each time you view an individual page, to make navigation easier. Cookies are small text files that are stored locally in your browser cache. Session cookies do not include any personal data and expire at the end of each session, or after the completion of a user survey, which is conducted as a rule every two years.

We do not use methods such as Java applets or ActiveX controls that make it possible to track your browsing behaviour.

Data is processed based on Art. 6 paragraph 1 f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) with the legitimate interest of analysing usage to improve the company’s website. 2. 2 Notes regarding objection
For this purpose, a cookie is stored on the device, preventing user data from being collected when the user visits this website. In order for the objection to take effect, the cookie must be stored on every device used.
