Improving spice branding in Tanzania

In efforts to help local producers position their spice products in global markets through better sector branding, labelling, and development of Geographical Indications (GIs), EU-EAC MARKUP II supported the enhancement of the TanzaniaSpices.org website.

This platform serves as a key promotional tool for Tanzanian spice producers and showcases the progress made by participating SMEs during Year 1 of the programme.

The improved website has significantly increased the international visibility of Tanzanian spices, highlighting their quality, authenticity, and origin.
