After the success of Uganda’s first ever online coffee auction for Arabica coffees in May 2021, ITC through MARKUP continues to support the Coffee Exporters and Processors Association of Rwanda (CEPAR) to set up its own national online coffee auction.

The second Sunrise, A Taste of Rwanda by CEPAR, will follow a similar schedule, including a national coffee cupping competition judged first by a national jury and then by an international one in early September. The online auction is scheduled to take place on 19 October 2021.
As coffee samples from around SMEs are currently on their way to the members of the international jury, we look forward to Rwanda’s finest coffees scoring well.
